Core Information
Engine Cores
In order to receive credit for a core deposit. Thermo Parts Supply must receive an engine of the same model submitted as a core. The head, block, oil pan, & crank shaft must be reusable for remanufacture in order to receive full credit.
Exception
On the 2.2di and 2.2se Isuzu models, Thermo Parts Supply deducts $600 for bad Timing Gears and $550 for bad Camshafts.
Compressor Cores
Full credit for core deposit is received if the compressor housing (including head covers, sump, pump housing, pump housing cover, flange, and bearing covers) of the same model is reusable for remanufacture.
All inspections are completed and deposits for reusable cores are mailed within 10 days of Thermo Parts Supply receiving the core.
